The golden, fluffy balls of Acacia blooms (also confusingly known as golden wattle and mimosa, depending on species, location etc) are a common sight in my neighborhood at springtime here in South Australia. Their ambrosial, honeyed, slightly sickly, green scent fills the air while walking near the bushes. I've used these blooms (plucked from the neighbors tree when they weren't looking) for reference when creating this original perfume base that captures the scent of Acacia blooms beautifully.
