Olfactory profile:
Scentolide is Synarome's proprietary isolate of ambrettolide. No difference can be detected in the aroma of Scentolide and ambrettolide, however Scentolide has a slightly higher and more elegant impact on the finished product, like ambergris would do, and is more expensive to buy.
A typical macrocyclic musk fragrance, soft musk-like, reminiscent of ambrette seed oil, with woody, ambergris and floral shades. Extremely useful as a fixative and also to pre-fix alcohol (at 0.01%or less)
