Mousse de Saxe is a dark, rich and complex accord with a long history of use in perfumery. It is sweet, heavy, earthy, animalic, green and fresh all at once with strong notes of liquorice, geranium, leather and powdery musk. Heavily used in Habanita (Molinard) and Bois des Iles (Chanel), facets are also present in Cabochard, Chanel 19 and Opium.
